“Amazon Business sellers can now use Automate Pricing to manage their business prices” (Source: Amazon News)

  • Automate Pricing allows you to quickly update prices across a large catalog of products, without spending a lot of time to make updates listing by listing.
  • With the newly launched business pricing rules, Amazon Business sellers can now create rules that will automatically update your business prices and quantity discounts.
  • You can make these updates based on changes to your consumer prices, saving both time and effort.
  • You can control the prices by defining rule parameters, setting minimum and maximum price boundaries for single-unit business prices, and selecting the SKUs on which to automate pricing.
  • For quantity discounts, the percentage discount you enter for each quantity tier will be used to determine the minimum price applicable for that specific quantity tier.
  • For example, if the minimum price for a SKU is USD $20, and you entered 10% as the discount on 5+ units, the minimum price applicable for quantity tier 5+ units would be USD $20 * (1-10%) = USD $18.

“Amazon FBA returns processing fee reductions” (Source: Tamebay)

  • The FBA returns processing fee applies to customer-returned products sold on Amazon in certain fashion categories for which Amazon offers free return shipping, including clothing and shoes and handbags.
  • Amazon is reminding sellers that, in Amazon Europe stores, they have eliminated the FBA returns processing fee for customer-returned products in the Watches and Jewellery categories.
  • The processing fee for Clothing, Shoes and Handbags has been reduced to 50% of the total fulfilment fee. These changes became effective from the 1st of March 2021.
  • These fees will apply to units fulfilled from local inventory as well as across Europe through the European Fulfilment Network (EFN) program.
  • For products which free returns aren’t routinely offered then there is no FBA returns processing fee as the customer pays the cost of the return shipping.
  • The referral fee promotion was originally scheduled to end on the 30th of April 2021. This promotion has been extended until the 31st of March 2022.
